The Titanic sank at night from 14 to 15 April 1912. There were 2208 people on board. More or less 712 survived, and only 330 bodies were found. So what happened to the rest? After all, tickets were sold and a number of people were employed, everything should be clear. But it is not. And not all bodies were identified! What had happened!? We are here to reveal the truth! There were families that their names were not on the list of the passengers! And some of the passengers were survived later while their names did not appear on the list! Where were their names registered!?
Today the #TITANIC was launched in 1911 in Belfast. A crowd of 100,000 turned out & 22 tons of soap and tallow were spread on the slipway to lubricate its passage into the River Lagan. #historypic.twitter.com/AIg3cAlwwI
— Isaac Bell (@IsaacBellSeries) May 31, 2018There were various causes of death. No autopsy was performed, the authorities wrote that the cause of death was drowning. And though it does not matter much, because the effect is the same, but not everyone was just drowned. It is quite obvious that people did not wait in the cabin until the water was flooded. We saw the movie, people were thrown to the right and left. Unfortunately, in reality, it was even worse.
Even if all 20 lifeboats on the #Titanic had been filled to capacity, there'd only have been room for 1,178 people. pic.twitter.com/0iUgWzTTb4
— RMS Titanic, Inc. (@RMS_Titanic_Inc) September 23, 2016The people who were drowned were not as many as they might have thought. The survivors talked about the horrible noise that accompanied it. People cried, screamed, asked for help. The help that was not there to get. Maybe if people were more involved and devoted to save and help others, this wouldn't have happened. Of course, if you did not have a life vest and you had the rescue boat, then yes, you ended up living your life but even if you managed to survive and get to a rescue boat, the chances of you losing your life would still be high, just not as high as the rest!

Then hypothermia was waiting for you. In the icy water, the body temperature quickly drops below 35 ° C, the internal organs gradually stop working. Death was within a quarter of an hour from you. You can safely assume that there are those who have had a heart attack or stroke and died before the rest of the companions.

Unfortunately, not everyone can be the main character and have a chance at a romantic or at least a decent death. When the ship tilted, people crushed to each other. The more it leaned over and broke, the more people fell and destroyed on the part of the ship. The worst-case scenario would be falling and hitting the surface of the water that would leave you with millions of broken bones. Or, you could bump into a piece of wood or metal and die in agony. Other people did not have a better chance either.

— RMS Titanic, Inc. (@RMS_Titanic_Inc) September 1, 2016Life jackets were good in rescuing when they knew how to properly fall into the water. If you did not cross the arms and did not put them on your shoulders, there was a good chance that your head would bend backward, and then your spine or your ribs would break. As people were not really informed about how to jump, you can guess the consequences. The real lucky ones were those who had been crushed once and for good without suffering.

There were also many people that decided to take their own lives! Many of the survivors remembered an officer who did not intend to wait for death and settled the case himself. However, much is unknown. There were some witnesses claiming that someone had a weapon that was used to shorten the suffering of others.

Some of them did not even know what was going on, and those who were aware of it all counted on helping people from higher classes. If they did not die before or after the break, the pressure increased with each passing moment. On 15 April a lifeboat was chartered. The captain testified that he saw only overturned lifeboats and one body. On April 20 a volunteer boat from the Funeral Association of the Province of Seaside arrived.

— RMS Titanic, Inc. (@RMS_Titanic_Inc) September 26, 2014James Cameron, director of the iconic Titanic, repeatedly dived to visit the shipwreck. After 33 visits with conviction stated that he did not see any, but it is no debris. Sailing has helped to limit people to visit the ship - if there are bodies there, it is a cemetery that cannot be visited so well. And something that for Cameron is just mud, for researchers is already human remains. So maybe he did not see the bodies because they were not there already in the human-like form. Therefore, we will never know what fate the other passengers' bodies have encountered.

— RMS Titanic, Inc. (@RMS_Titanic_Inc) September 22, 2014A month after the catastrophe, a lifeboat was found, 200 miles away. The last body found was discovered two months after the sinking of the Titanic. Some experts believe that hundreds of people could not get on board and simply went to the bottom, others that the passengers drifted far from the wreck. A photo was taken, showing leather boots and a jacket, already covered with mud from the bottom. Specialists from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said that there was a man in these boots, but he had already disbanded.

— RMS Titanic, Inc. (@RMS_Titanic_Inc) September 12, 2014The ship was built to be unsinkable, but clearly, that wasn’t the case since she claimed the life of more than 1,500 people. The work for the Titanic started in March 1909 and continued until the Spring of 1911. Some theories claim that the design of the ship had fatal flaws which made it obvious that it was doomed from the start. In those days the price of the tickets was quite expensive. If we calculate it to the price of today the first-class ticket cost $4,300 and third-class ticket cost $36. The tickets would cost approximately ₹7,061,872.24 and ₹59,122.96 today!

And it is believed that the last supper the first-class passengers had was an 11-course meal. Unfortunately, the ship is far from what it was destined to be; the best, biggest, and most luxurious ship in the history of mankind. It is away from all that extravagance and glamor and now it is nothing but a lost piece under the sea. The discovery of the wreck of the Titanic took awhile for it to be discovered from its sunken place.

— RMS Titanic, Inc. (@RMS_Titanic_Inc) September 17, 2014On September 1, 1985, a group of scientists led by Robert Ballard, first found the ruins after years of searching. Ballard told TIME magazine the very same month that the ocean protected and kept it as “museum piece.” Even if it had succumbed to rust because of the constant exposure to sea-water, it was still possible to make out what the ship looked like. Now, not only has it become a part of the ocean, but it’s also a home to several marine creatures and animals under the ocean.

— Public Auctions (@auctionspublic) October 30, 2017The luxury the ship was first known for has slowly faded away over the years. Maybe the grandeur and fame of the ship were meant to be part of a much bigger body than just above the ocean, but it first had to claim the lives of thousands in just a few hours. Find the SOS distress call here. This is the Morse code of the Titanic's distress call in 1912.
